• Driven rates quoted are subject to VAT, plus any fuel or oil used.
• Vehicles cancelled on day of collection/delivery or aborted will be charged at full rate.
• Any costs incurred in the event of a vehicle breakdown, including recovery will be charged at cost price. All vehicles requiring out of hours recovery will be recovered to destination.
• Please inform us of any special instructions, telephone numbers or contacts to use in the event of a breakdown of one of your vehicles. Supplying these should minimize your costs as otherwise a national recovery operator will be used.
• No responsibility will be accepted by Direct Vehicle Movements or their drivers for damage that cannot be attributable to negligence i.e. punctures, windscreen chips, stone chips and any other damage that is not directly caused by our drivers.
• During our period of responsibility, all vehicles are covered by either our “goods in transit” insurance (transported vehicles) or for driven vehicles a fully comprehensive road policy is in force, a copy is available on request. Vehicles damaged whilst in our care, which we accept liability for, will be repaired and delivery completed. DVM will not provide hire cars, replacement vehicles, consequential loss or compensation whilst the vehicle is being repaired.
• Delivery schedules. Whilst every effort is made to keep to promised dates, times etc DVM will not be held responsible for late or failed collections or deliveries caused by circumstances beyond our control, i.e. road works, traffic accidents, breakdowns, industrial action or adverse weather conditions etc.

PAYMENT TERMS

Approved credit customers:- Payment due end of month following delivery. Invoices will be assigned to Barclays Bank Plc., Asset & Sales Finance, Churchill Plaza, Churchill Way, Basingstoke, Hampshire RG21 7GP. To whom all payments must be made and whose receipt therefore alone is valid.

 Non credit customers:- Strictly payment on delivery.
